Job description:

  • Supporting the establishment of the General Accounting and Close COE in EMEA
  • Leading the General Accounting and Close team in Hamburg and Poznan
  • Setting targets, creating developments plans and taking care of team members’ development
  • Organizing monthly and annual closing activities
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and the monthly reporting in the locations under the COE structure
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into the results

Job requirements:

  • BA’s degree in economic fields
  • At least 5 years’ experience in accounting area and 2 years’ experience in managing a team
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Ability to multi-task and keep up with a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills, initiative and problem solving skills
  • Strong communications skills and ability to interface with different level of management
  • Proficiency MS Office applications, experience with Hyperion Financial Management and ERP systems will be an advantage
